The Texas Offshore Showdown (T-O-S) is a season-long event that caters to the Texas Gulf Coast fishermen and women. There is NO Registration Fee to enter the Tournament that includes 1st Place Trophies/Certificates for the heaviest fish in each category (or most release points for billfish). There are thirteen (13) fish categories and four (3) Optional Side Pot levels ($250, $500, $750) in each category with a 60/30/10 payout (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) for side pot entrants. RULE CHANGE- Any fish caught/used for another tournament in Texas will count in the t-o-s as long as you are a registered entrant. You can register for the Tournament at any time during the year, as well as, enter Optional Side Pots at any time during the year. GRAND PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED TO THE OVERALL WINNER.  This year, grand prize includes a 60 gallon fuel bladder.  Overall winner is determined by the top fish in the most categories.  It the case of a tie, it will be awarded to most overall weighed fish points.  REGISTER @: bluewaterathletes@gmail.com

• Fishing Dates January 1 - October 25

• Awards Lunch - October/November - Durado's Dive Club. TBA

• Weighed fish must be caught within the Recreational Fishing Season Only

• All State and Federal Regulations must be followed

• ANY Certified Scale works to confirm each catch

• You must submit catch forms via email within 48 hours of weighing the fish

• Weighed Fish Forms and photo of the fish ON SCALE with the weight visible.. or a video of billfish being released are to be emailed directly to bluewaterathletes@gmail.com 

  • Please do not leave the completed Weighed Fish Form with the weigh station and/or marina

• Boat owners assume all liability for any person(s) onboard involved in the tournament.

• All tournament winnings are subject to any/all state/federal taxes.

• EACH WEIGH FORM MUST CONTAIN A PHOTO OF FISH&SCALE.  EACH BILLFISH MUST CONTAIN PHOTO/VIDEO OF LEADERED FISH And/or boatside. ALONG WITH FISH SWIMMING AWAY (SPECIES MUST BE VISIBLE)

• I will not make the weights public until the tournament ends.  Category Leaders will be displayed but not the actual weight.
